Brandt Kekoa Mabuni is a current Young Leader, a former WSD-Handa Fellow, and a former Hawaii Asia-Pacific Affairs Leadership Scholar with Pacific Forum. He is currently conducting research on pathways for WMD proliferation through commercial nuclear programs, and is actively involved in working groups for energy security and nuclear power policy. Previous to Pacific Forum, Brandt spent several years in finance and supply chain management. Originally from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, he holds a master’s degree in Asian International Affairs from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, and a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Azusa Pacific University.
