Prior to discussing specific issue-areas relevant to PN and PCG operations, participants will first be provided with conceptual knowledge of Women, Peace, and Security. After which, an activity will be designed to allow for a deeper understanding and appreciation of the concepts introduced.

- How is the WPS Agenda typically applied in armed forces training and work? (increasing women in the military, protecting women against conflict)
- The importance of consulting with women- Gender mainstreaming
