This second virtual meeting aims to build on the success of the inaugural CSCAP WPS Study Group meeting held in June 2021. The first meeting established a strong interest for the group to assist in facilitating cooperation, discovering common issues and resource sharing among members. This second meeting shall serve as an opportunity to take a deeper dive into the diversity of WPS implementation and priorities in the Asia Pacific. It shall also serve to take stock of emerging scholarship and evidence on thematic issues related to WPS, notably: ongoing challenges to eliminating violence against women; disaster, relief & recovery; and the COVID-19 pandemic.
